Palatine is a small village, north of Carlow town on the Carlow/Kildare border . This is a scenic area and there is an attractive rural aspect to this site. Nearby areas of interest include, walks down the Mile avenue to woodlands, Ducketts Grove. Newlands Cross is c.45 minute drive. Palatine village is located close to the Kildare border approx., 6 km north east of Carlow town and just 3 km from the m9 intersection.
